Desiree offers over 25 years of clinical expertise as a physical therapist in a beautiful and relaxing environment conducive to optimal healing. She performs Integrative Manual Therapy practice that combines the evidence-based neuroplasticity approaches in order to address a population with painful repetitive movement syndromes, complex post-injury pain, as well as orthopedic and neurologic conditions.

As she believes in treating the whole body rather than the parts, Desiree also incorporates Sensory Integration, CranioSacral Therapy, Neuroplastic Movement Calibration Techniques, and Craniofacial work in order to drive patients to optimal recovery.

Desiree is forward thinking and an educator by nature that believes in educating her patients about correction of their faulty movement patterns, techniques to prevent re-injury, postural correction, and improvement of biomechanics in their activities of daily living.

Equipped with skilled evaluation and care-planning which is regularly communicated to both patients and physicians involved, her ultimate goal is to restore fitness & wellness in order to re-integrate patients back to their communities as healthy functioning individuals.

Desiree is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Gait and Movement Clinical Society, and International Alliance of Healthcare Practitioners. She also holds a Diplomate and Senior Disability Analyst status by the American Boards of Disability Analysts, which awarded her Emeritus in 2016.
