We Welcome You…
At Ambient Physical Therapy, we employ different strategies to address your specific condition. We work on making sure that your care plan is individualized and functional. We understand that each individual has different goals, lifestyles and demands in their daily living.
As such, we spend an hour with you during your evaluation in order to carefully understand your condition as well as to review your medical history and diagnosis. During this time, we strive to examine, diagnose, analyze your biomechanics and discuss with you the treatment plan in line with the outcome that you and your physician wish for you.
We are heavily inclined to all forms of manual therapy, patient education, and devising a plan for your home exercise program.
Additionally, we are determined to work with you in finding a way to transition you into a fitness and wellness program that could carry you long-term to prevent re-injury.
The following are some of what you will receive at Ambient which are seamlessly woven into the tapestry of your PT management:

Myofascial Release & Trigger Point Therapy
MFR and TPT are another form of manual therapy designed to reduce pain, spasm, soft tissue tightness and scarring.
Targeted to reintroduce safe and efficient use of muscles and mechanics to perform activities of daily living using concepts of kinesiology and biomechanics.
Therapeutic exercise consists of scientific choices of exercises to improve strength, flexibility, conditioning, balance and coordination of the patients.
Kinesio-taping provides intermediate support and stability to joints and muscles while allowing for full range of motion. It also provides stability by reducing excessive motion thereby reducing pain and inflammation.
Movement Syndrome Therapy
This is derived from the Sahrman techniques to correct specific movement syndromes that cause untractable pain and discomfort due to habitual movement dysfunction and disorganization often as a result of postural disorders.
A selection of treatment modalities which includes electrotherapy, motor point stimulation, dry needling, soft tissue releases, and postural correction, as well as functional exercises to address cervicogenic headaches, mandibular dysfunctions, and even facial paralysis.
Relieves tension and soft tissue tightness that affects movement dysfunctions which affects the spine and cranial myofascia.
Traditional interventions include Biofeedback, Electrical Muscle Stimulation Therapeutic Ultrasound, Interferential Currents, Functional Electrical Stim, TENS, and other mechanical devices such as intermittent traction devices as well as thermogenic modalities. This is designed to promote natural healing by reducing pain, neural compression, swelling, inflammation or restrictions, and improve nutrient delivery and oxygenation to a healing tissue
Deep massage targeted to relieve pain and spasm in the area.
Women’s Health Physical Therapy
